The Society has an extensive collection of records, photographs, books, files and items related to Laurel history. These are catalogued and available to researchers.
The library is named after John Calder Brennan (1908-1996), a Laurel resident for 50+ years who researched and published information on the history of Laurel. His extensive collection of Laurel-related materials was donated to the LHS at his death.
The library has open hours every Monday from 10-12 for drop in researchers. Appointments can be made throughout the week between 9-3 for additional research opportunities.
